The man who had the dust-up with Tim Großmueller is reportedly 30-year-old Linus B., who chose to chat with us under conditions of anonymity, expressing concerns for his safety.
Linus B. claims he was driving with a friend on Bergstraße on the night of January 20 when they had issues with another vehicle. Both Linus B. and Großmueller, behind the wheel of the other vehicle, grew angry and stepped out of their respective cars. Both started abusing each other, according to Linus B.'s account. "I opted to avoid the police"
According to Linus B.'s narrative, Großmueller kicked him in the hip and knocked him to the ground, also tearing his sweater off. Linus B. insists he defended himself and suffered injuries, such as a scrape on his right hip and elbow, a left wrist injury, and ongoing back pain.
The man alleges he recalls a bystander stepping in and threatening to call the cops. "I didn't feel like interacting with the police. When I finally managed to shove Tim Großmueller away with my foot, I collected my sweater, got back into my car with my pal, and left the area," Linus B. recounts. Later, the police arrived at his house, he says.
