In the wee hours of Saturday, tensions between India and Pakistan escalated as India claimed Pakistan violated the ceasefire agreement reached earlier in the day. Consequently, the Indian Army is reportedly retaliating against border intrusions.

The metropolis of Jammu experienced a peaceful Sunday, a day following Pakistan's intense shelling, which heightened tensions. Notably, no incident of drone sightings, firing, or shelling took place during the night of May 10-11. Similarly, the Poonch area maintained its tranquility throughout the night, with no reported instances of drone, firing, or shelling.

However, amid escalating tension, the Amritsar District Collector issued a red alert on Sunday, urging residents to stay indoors and away from windows. In a statement released, the District Collector emphasized the restoration of power but stressed the alert condition, sheltered by continuous sirens. Residents were advised to refrain from venturing out of their homes and to keep a safe distance from windows.
