A New Era: Indiana Fever Secures Tampon Partnership with Sequel

Caitlin Clark and her fellow Indiana Fever players can now count on more than just basketball badass Sophie Cunningham for backup – they've got the backing of Sequel, a women-led and owned tampon powerhouse!

Sequel, stepping up to the plate and making history, declared they're the Indiana Fever's Official Tampon Partner. Not exactly a Michelob Ultra-sponsored three-pointer, right?

Despite whispers about Sequel's decision to partner with the Fever after turning down NBA stars Ben Simmons, Joel Embiid, and Kawhi Leonard, it seems Charmin's ultra-soft offerings would've been a far better fit for them.

Sophie Cunningham, the on-court Caitlin Clark enforcer, is no stranger to Sequel – she's already representing the tampon brand as an ambassador!

Fast forward a fortnight, and the Sequel-Fever partnership comes alive. Sequel products will be at the disposal of both the Fever players and fans, with free Spiral Tampons stationed in the team's locker room and scattered throughout the Gainbridge Fieldhouse restrooms.

Remember the days when sports teams teamed up with cigarette and beer conglomerates? Those days seem to be long gone, replaced by an era that's all about taking care of business - one tampon at a time.

At Gainbridge Fieldhouse, a hot dog costs $4, a tub of popcorn goes for $3, but a tampon? It's free!

The times, they are a'changin'.

Indiana Fever Steps into the Future with Sequel

The Sequel-Fever union is a match made in heaven. A tampon alliance with a WNBA team – as natural as it can get, don't you think? Lexie Hull, one of the Fever's guards, is already riding the Sequel wave as a brand ambassador.

What can we expect in the future? Time will tell. My quick Google search doesn't reveal much, but I suspect this is the first of its kind. Sequel's partnership with the Fever could open the floodgates for tampon brands looking to hop on the WNBA bandwagon.

Would've thought San Francisco or Seattle teams would've taken the bait first. Guess they missed their chance!

Caitlin Clark's remarkable run on the court has us waiting for the day she reminds us that even Republicans need tampons.

This partnership provides free Sequel Spiral Tampons to both players and fans, pushing period product sponsorship into the realm of professional sports for the first time[1][3][4].

With Lexie Hull, one of the Indiana Fever's guards, already representing Sequel as a brand ambassador, it's clear that the Sequel-Fever union is a groundbreaking deal in the sports and tampon industries. This partnership could pave the way for more tampon brands to partner with WNBA teams, blurring the lines between period products and professional sports.
