The wheelset features a 50mm-deep Tune TRC50 carbon rim with a 25mm inner width, laced with 24 front and rear Sapim CX-Ray silver spokes. The hubs, part of Tune’s Nano series, boast a steel three-pawl freehub with 69 points of engagement (upgradeable to 138), are 12-speed compatible, and designed for center-lock disc brakes only. The wheelset weighs a mere 1,389g and includes Enduro ABEC-5 bearings housed in aluminum end caps.
Alec Briggs of Tekkerz emphasized that the wheels combine top-end performance with standout style, inspired by iconic gold liveries in motor racing, featuring a large Tune logo and the Tekkerz Tyrannosaurus Rex mascot on the gold rims. The gold wheels, originally used on the Canyon Aeroads, one of the best road bikes available, follow in Tekkerz's tradition of bold and unique designs.
