Busy Day of Racing: Stars Aim for Wins at Bellewstown, Southwell, and Chelmsford

Busy Day of Racing: Stars Aim for Wins at Bellewstown, Southwell, and Chelmsford

Today sees a busy day of racing with several notable runners and riders. Keithen Kennedy has two rides at Bellewstown, while Shantou Lucky aims for a five-timer at Southwell. Meanwhile, George Baker, who has a 50% strike-rate at Chelmsford this season, will be in action with Massimo Blue making his debut for the yard.

At Bellewstown, Keithen Kennedy, who has had two winners from four rides at the track this season, will be aboard Joyful Princess in the mile fillies' maiden. The filly has shown good form with a career-best performance of 82 Racing Post Rating. Kennedy will also ride Livingston Range in the 5f handicap. Over at Southwell, Shantou Lucky, trained by James Owen, is looking to extend his winning streak to five in the 3m1f handicap chase.

In the 6f handicap at Chelmsford, Massimo Blue will make his debut for trainer George Baker. Baker, who has a 50% strike-rate at the track this season, will be hoping for a successful outing with the horse. Baker is a well-known jockey who has previously worked with trainer Phil McEntee. Meanwhile, at Clonmel, Coffeys Forge, trained by Gordon Elliott, will be aiming for his first hurdles win in the 2m7f handicap after a successful start over fences. Over at Nottingham, Rock N Roll Pinkie, trained by Ivan Furtado, has an excellent record with three wins and a second place from seven visits to the track. Lastly, Grant Tuer and Oliver Stammers look to repeat their 7f nursery win at Newcastle with Advertised, while Oisin Murphy and Jack Jones have a strong strike-rate together with six wins from 18 rides.

With several promising runners and successful partnerships in action today, racing fans can look forward to an exciting day of racing. The performances of Joyful Princess, Shantou Lucky, Massimo Blue, and Coffeys Forge, among others, will be ones to watch.
