Businessman from Kazakhstan's spouse's statement met with a response from QKNB
The State National Security Committee of Kyrgyzstan has opened a criminal case against a Kazakhstani entrepreneur, identified as 'Z.A.', based on a complaint from a Kyrgyz citizen accusing him of embezzling $2.5 million.
According to the statement released by the Committee, Z.A. was arrested in Kyrgyzstan and a raid was conducted on his factory, KazBrand. The arrested individual admitted his guilt and is currently being detained during the investigation.

However, a video message from the wife of the accused, Almaz Zharikov, was posted on social media. She claimed that her husband was arrested in Kyrgyzstan on August 22 over a 13-year-old noaa case and that their family is being extorted for $2.5 million in exchange for Zharikov's release.
