Bus Collision in Astana Leaves Girl Injured, Two More Passengers Hurt
In the heart of Astana, a shocking incident unfolded on Turan Avenue as a driver struck an adolescent girl with a car, the city's police department confirms to our website. This unfortunate accident left two more individuals injured.
According to the Kris_p_astana Telegram channel, the incident involved a public bus near the Barys sports complex. The post reads, "Near the Barys sports complex in Astana, a public bus hit an underage girl returning from training."
The Astana Police Department's press service shared some details about the accident. The driver of a Yutong public bus, while cruising along Turan Avenue, collided with a pedestrian - an underage girl - who was crossing the road within the designated area. As a result, the young girl was rushed to the hospital. Two passengers on the bus also sustained injuries as the vehicle suddenly came to a halt. One passenger was discharged from the hospital after medical examination, while the other remained hospitalized.
The Astana Health Department also gave our correspondent an update on the girls' condition. She was found to have a closed head injury, while the second injured individual, a bus passenger, also suffered from a closed head injury.
