Burg Educators Honored for Standing Against Intolerance
Former Burg high school teacher Max Teske and his colleague, Laura Nickel, will receive the "Prize for Civil Courage - Against Right-Wing Radicalism, Anti-Semitism, and Racism" in Berlin on Thursday. The award, which comes with a 4,000 euro prize, is presented by Förderkreis Denkmal für die ermordeten Juden Europas (Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe).
