Buffalo's quarterback Josh Allen sets a new record with a touchdown, helping Buffalo Bills to narrowly triumph over Miami Dolphins despite a late threat.

Miami's quest for their first win of the season fell short once again, as they suffered a defeat against the Buffalo Bills in a closely contested game.

The turning point of the match came in the form of a critical interception by Terrel Bernard, which proved to be a pivotal moment for the Bills.

Quarterback Josh Allen, who had a stellar performance, threw three touchdown passes in the game. His first touchdown pass was a 20-yard strike to Dalton Kincaid, marking the start of a historic day for the NFL star.

Allen's last touchdown pass of the game was to Khalil Shakir in the fourth quarter, marking his 200th passing touchdown in the NFL. This feat places Allen among the fastest players to reach this milestone, as he achieved it in his 114th career game, just behind Peyton Manning and Drew Brees.

Allen is also tied for sixth-fastest player to reach 200 passing touchdowns, and he ranks second in the NFL for fastest to reach this milestone, achieving it in 69 career games, only behind Patrick Mahomes.

Miami's Tua Tagovailoa had a mixed performance, completing 22 out of 34 pass attempts for 146 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception. The interception came after a deep drive into Buffalo territory, when Tagovailoa attempted a quick pass to Jaylen Waddle, but it was intercepted by Bernard.

Despite a more complete performance compared to their opening two games of the season, the Dolphins still suffered a defeat. Head coach Mike McDaniel acknowledged there were no moral victories to take from the loss, despite the improved display in Week 3.

Buffalo was able to kill most of the clock with a 10-play, 39-yard drive and scored a field goal to extend their lead to 10 and wrap up the victory. Bills head coach Sean McDermott praised his team's grit and mental toughness, stating, "Good win, never easy."

Looking ahead, the Bills host the New Orleans Saints in Week 4, while the Dolphins welcome the New York Jets to Florida. Allen's impressive form against the Dolphins continues, as he is now 13-2 against Miami and has scored 45 total touchdowns in 15 games against them, his most against a single opponent.

The Dolphins will be hoping to end their winless streak in their upcoming game against the Jets, as they look to turn their season around.
