Buffalo's Quarterback Josh Allen achieves a historic milestone, leading the team to victory over the Miami Dolphins amidst a nail-biting finish.

The Buffalo Bills secured a hard-fought victory against the Miami Dolphins, winning 31-21 in Week 3 of the NFL season. The crucial moment of the game came in the final minute, when linebacker Terrel Bernard intercepted a pass from Tua Tagovailoa, effectively sealing the win for the Bills.

Josh Allen, the Bills' quarterback, had a stellar performance, throwing three touchdown passes in the game. His last touchdown pass of the game was to Khalil Shakir in the fourth quarter, marking Allen's 200th passing touchdown in the NFL. This achievement places Allen among the sixth-fastest players to reach this milestone, tying him with Russell Wilson, Kirk Cousins, and Dak Prescott, who all reached 200 passing touchdowns in their 114th career game.

Allen's first touchdown pass of the game was a 20-yard strike to Dalton Kincaid, which also marked a significant milestone for Allen. With this touchdown, Allen reached a combined 300 touchdowns (passing and rushing) in the NFL, including playoffs.

Tagovailoa, on the other hand, completed 22 passes out of 34 attempts for 146 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception in the game. Despite the better performance compared to their opening two games, the Dolphins were unable to capitalise and lost their third consecutive game of the season, extending their winless streak.

Miami Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel acknowledged the improved performance but stated that there were no moral victories to be taken from the loss. He emphasised the need for the team to focus on winning games moving forward.

Looking ahead, the Bills will host the New Orleans Saints in Week 4, while the Dolphins will welcome the New York Jets. The Bills will be aiming to continue their winning streak against the Saints, while the Dolphins will be hoping to finally secure their first win of the season against the Jets.

It's worth noting that Allen has a strong record against the Dolphins, with a 13-2 win-loss record and 45 total touchdowns in 15 games against them. This makes the Dolphins Allen's most successful opponent to date.

The Bills' ability to control the clock in the final stages of the game was instrumental in their victory. They managed a 10-play, 39-yard drive, capping it off with a field goal to extend the lead to 10 and wrap up the victory.

Unfortunately for the Dolphins, they have yet to secure a win this season and will be hoping to turn their fortunes around in Week 4.
