The Buffalo Bills added another win to their impressive record against the Miami Dolphins, defeating their AFC East rivals 31-21 on Thursday night in a thrilling game of football. Quarterback Josh Allen shone once again, throwing three touchdown passes in the game. His performance ties Dak Prescott for the most wins over a single opponent among active quarterbacks (14-2 against the Dolphins). The Bills' first touchdown drive was led by James Cook, ending with a 20-yard touchdown pass from Allen to Dalton Kincaid. The Dolphins responded with a touchdown by Ollie Gordon, but the Bills quickly rebounded with two consecutive touchdown drives. The Bills' second touchdown of the first half was scored by Jackson Hawes, marking the second time in Allen's career that he's thrown multiple touchdown passes to tight ends in the same half. The Bills scored the first touchdown of the second half as well, with James Cook hammering into the end zone from 2 yards away. Miami's offense rediscovered its rhythm, resulting in a 9-play, 67-yard drive. Tua Tagovailoa scored a 5-yard touchdown pass to Tyreek Hill, tying the game again. However, the Bills' defense held strong, with Terrel Bernard intercepting a short Tagovailoa pass, preventing a potential game-winning drive for Miami. Matt Prater converted a late field goal to seal the Bills' victory. The Bills' defense seemed to settle in after the second half touchdown, with no further scoring until the end of the game. The win improves the Bills' record to 3-0, while the Dolphins remain winless at 0-3. The Bills were also penalized for roughing the kicker, giving the Bills new life on their next drive. The quarterback with a negative record against the Miami Dolphins last season is Anthony Richardson of the Indianapolis Colts. The Bills' longest touchdown drive of the game was a 16-play, 71-yard drive in the first half, culminating in Cook's first touchdown. A gutsy fourth and 4 conversion was made by Waddle, picking up 15 yards on a crossing route. Miami's longest touchdown drive since 2012 was also in this game, a 16-play, 71-yard drive in the first half that ended with a touchdown pass from Tagovailoa to Waddle with just eight seconds remaining in the first half. The Bills have now won eight consecutive games against the Dolphins, a streak that continues to grow. Allen's undefeated record on Thursdays, going 8-0 as a starting quarterback, also remains intact, the best record by a starting quarterback on any day of the week since 1950.
