Bucharest Welcomes Back L'Étape Romania Cycling Event in Late Summer
Get ready, cycling fanatics! You're invited to join the L'Étape Romania by Tour de France, happening on August 31 this year in the vibrant heart of Bucharest. This marks the fourth edition of the race in the Romanian capital, and it promises to be an unforgettable experience.
The event kicks off from Constitutiei Square, winding through some of Bucharest's most iconic streets and landmarks, such as Calea Victoriei, the Arch of Triumph, and the Palace of Parliament. Whether you're an amateur or an experienced cyclist, there's a course for everyone. Choose from the City Adventure (14 km), suitable for those aged 7 and up, The Ride (42 km), open to those aged 15 and over, or The Race (85 km), also for those aged 15 and over.
This global event, part of the L'Étape Series by Tour de France, offers early bird pricing until June 30, with entry fees starting at RON 190. To learn more and register, follow the link provided.
Aside from the race, the event features a Race Village at Constitutiei Square, open to all visitors. Expect a festival-like atmosphere with live music, food, relaxation zones, cycling-related activities, sponsor activations, and even kids' activities. The Race Village is free for individuals with disabilities, and children receive a 15% discount.
