"Bryony Frost scores a first Graded victory in France, marking another milestone in her racing career"
In the world of horse racing, there's no stopping Bryony Frost. The British jockey added another feather to her cap with a victory at the Prix de Chambly in France on Thursday, this time aboard Good Girl De Faust.
This win was not a one-off for Frost, who has been making waves in France since moving there in spring last year. Just hours before, she had scored another landmark achievement, winning aboard Kit Raffles and Miss Des Boullats on the same Clairefontaine card.
Good Girl De Faust, trained by Mickael Seror, is the 21st winner of the year for Frost. Seror, who has been a major support to Frost as she navigates her career in France, offered his congratulations after the win. He credits Frost's eagerness to learn and improve in a new country for her success.
Seror believes that Frost has a good ability to judge horses in the mornings and progressively bring them along. This was evident in the way Frost handled Good Girl De Faust during the race.
Meanwhile, another horse shared by Frost, Kilt Ecossais, won a five-year-old chase on the same card. However, Frost was not aboard for this win.
Jordan Gainford, who scored a win at Auteuil with Lasca De Thaix on Thursday, was introduced to Noel George by a friend, Brendan Batsford. Gainford's win with Noel George and Amanda Zetterholm's horse was his third in France and his first at Auteuil.
In other racing news, a tribute was paid to Brave Inca, a horse who sadly passed away. Japan faced a blow in the Arc with the withdrawal of their leading contender, while Nicky Henderson is preparing to welcome Nico de Boinville back to the saddle.
Frost divides her time between different teams that have Double Green horses. Another horse shared by Frost, Matin Midi Et Soir, won an earlier race on the same card, but Frost was not aboard.
