Brownells Germany's Range Days 2025 held in Kasseedorf - an event recap featuring video content, reported by Reimer Johannsen
In the picturesque town of Kasseedorf, Schleswig-Holstein, the Johanssen Range Days took place in 2025, organised by Alljagd CEO Dirk Johannsen. The event was a resounding success, with everything running smoothly and a pleasant and familiar atmosphere.
Manfred Alberts showcased two Beretta shotgun models at the event: the Silver Pigeon Jagd and the 688 Black Edition Sporting. Both models combine classic Beretta quality with modern features. The Silver Pigeon starts at approximately 2,340 Euro, making it an ideal choice for hunting excursions, while the Black Edition is aimed at sport shooters.
The Sako 90 bolt-action rifles were also presented at the event, distributed in the German retail market through wholesaler Manfred Alberts. These rifles impressed as a highly accurate hunting rifle "out of the box".
Steyr Arms showcased the new MS Wild, a precise hunting bolt-action rifle with a hammer-forged barrel, 700g direct trigger, and modern synthetic stock. It retails for approximately 2,300 Euro, making it an affordable choice for many.
For those looking for a more affordable option, the Tippmann M4-22 PRO S in .22 LR is an excellent choice. This semi-automatic rifle, with its AR feel, is perfect for beginners and is priced between 800 and 1000 Euro.
In addition to firearms, the event also featured a variety of optics. Swarovski Optik showcased optics for long-range shooting, including the STR model with integrated MRAD reticle and the BTX with fixed 35x magnification. Kahles presented the new K540i riflescope and its sibling model K328i. Both offer up to 40% more field of view and precise adjustment, but come with a higher price tag of around 4,500 Euro.
RWS presented the Steel Action HSL, a slimmer version of the bolt-action rifle series with reduced weight, revised wooden stock, 17 mm thick semi-weight barrel, and adjustable trigger weight. It is available in .308 Winchester (45 or 51 cm barrel length) and 6.5 Creedmoor (56 cm barrel).
SIG Sauer presented the exclusive P226 X-Five "Sunburst" in a limited edition of just 60 pieces. This handgun features bilateral sunburst engraving, polished controls, straight trigger pull, skeletonized hammer, and elegant layered wood grips. Priced at just under 5,000 Euro, it is a must-have for any serious collector.
RWS also presented the new Glock 43X with Aimpoint Acro optics at the event.
Nocpix presented a new generation of binocular thermal imaging devices in cooperation with MAWA at the event.
Visitors had the opportunity to experience various shooting opportunities, including Trap and Skeet, running boar at 100 meters, handgun stand, long-distance shooting, and realistic hunting scenarios. The Hanseatic Barbecue Club provided food and drinks for those who needed a break between shooting sessions.
The Steel Action Mark II model was showcased at the event, but the company distributing it was not identified in the available search results. The Alljagd special version of the Steel Action, a firearm, was showcased featuring an exclusive laminate stock from Stocon and adjustable trigger.
Finally, Waimex presented the Heckler & Koch SP5, a sports-approved variant of a firearm, at the event. The Tier Defense Device JPX Jet Protector 2, an animal deterrent device, was exclusively distributed by GSG at the event.
