Brother Noel Gallagher praises Liam Gallagher as "excellent"
After a long hiatus, the iconic Britpop band Oasis has reunited for a series of comeback concerts, much to the delight of fans across the globe. In a recent interview with Talksport, Noel Gallagher praised his brother Liam, calling him "amazing" and expressing his pride in Liam's handling of the reunion tour[1][2][4].
Despite underestimating the physical demands of performing again, Noel admitted to feeling "on top of the world" and blown away by the positive reception to their reunion shows[2][4]. He highlighted Liam's strong stage presence and stamina, acknowledging that he couldn't perform in stadiums like Liam does[2].
The Oasis reunion has been a challenging yet rewarding experience for the band, with their stadium tour receiving overwhelming fan support. This marks the first public comments from Noel about the reunion, revealing his initial struggle to keep up on stage but overall excitement about the tour's success[2][4].
Noel also expressed his admiration for long-time Oasis guitarist Paul "Bonehead" Arthurs and described the Oasis reunion concerts as an "incredible experience"[2]. The reunion represents a major event for Oasis fans, and both brothers are actively performing, with their concerts drawing large crowds and enthusiastic responses.
However, the reunion has not been without its challenges. In 2009, a heated argument between the Gallagher brothers before a concert at the Rock En Seine Festival in Paris led to the dissolution of Oasis a few days later[3]. Despite this history, it seems that the brothers have put their differences aside for the sake of their fans and the music they created together.
The Oasis reunion tour kicked off in Cardiff at the beginning of July and will continue with concerts in various countries outside the UK, including America, Japan, South Korea, Australia, and South America[4]. The band will also play again at the London Wembley Stadium in September[5]. With shows planned until the end of 2025, it seems that the Oasis reunion is here to stay.
