Brooke Hogan, the daughter of the late WWE legend Hulk Hogan, shares her reasons for not attending her father's funeral.
Hulk Hogan's funeral was held at the Indian Rocks Baptist Church in Largo, Florida, but his daughter Brooke Hogan chose not to attend. According to Brooke, Hulk did not want a funeral, preferring a more personal and private way of remembering him.
Instead, Brooke honoured Hulk by taking her newborn twins to his favourite beach. She placed them in the salty waters he loved, describing it as the simplest way that felt closest to him and to her soul. Brooke shared this on Instagram, along with photos of the family at the beach, highlighting this private moment as her way of saying a final goodbye and celebrating the things that made her father special.
Brooke's husband, Steven Oleksy, claimed that Hulk had pushed a false narrative about Brooke not attending his third wedding to Sky Daily. Towards the end of his life, Brooke claimed there was a disconnect between her and Hulk, and they had respectful disagreements.
Hulk Hogan was married to Linda from 1983 to 2009 and later to Jennifer McDaniel from 2010 to 2021. He was also married to Sky Daily until his death. Brooke asked to be removed as a beneficiary of Hulk Hogan's estate in 2023, fearing a bitter financial battle in the wake of his death.
Hulk Hogan's friends and family gathered to say their final goodbyes to the WWE legend, while Brooke chose to celebrate her father's life in her own private way. Brooke released a heartbreaking statement following Hulk's death, expressing her love and connection with him. Her husband, Steven, also shared a touching message to Hulk after his death.
