Sweet mercy, that plane crash, though, huh? Vishwash, a bloke of 40, who's lucky to be alive, grins for the cameras after emerging from the shadows handling survivor's guilt like a hot potato.

Vishwash, same as his mate Ajay, was on the doomed Air India flight, bound for the clouds. A tragic tale of two brothers on a plane that took a nosedive. Guess which one reached the landing strip, eh? You got it — ol' Vishwash made it.

Ajay didn't have such luck, though. They were supposed to be seated next to each other, snuggled up in row 11 close to the emergency exit. The universe, apparently, had other plans. Someone had snagged a seat, leaving the brothers seats apart. Boom! There goes the plane. Vishwash, seat 11A, survives. Ajay, seat 11J, not so much. Vishwash can't help but think, "If we'd stuck together…"

"I feel terrible that I couldn't save Ajay," Vishwash whispers, his eyes shimmering with tears. "It's a miracle I survived. I wish I was never alive."

Resilience, it seems, is the name of this game. Now at his family home near the east coast of India, Vishwash is surrounded by love. But the future's uncertain. When the monsoon season hits, the day-to-day will change, bringing with it memories of the horrendous ordeal.

Life's a bitch sometimes, isn't it? And death's no picnic either, as our poor mate Ajay learned the hard way. RIP, bro. Here's to you, Vishwash. Stay strong.

"Vishwash's survival and Ajay's unfortunate demise have triggered discussions in both general-news and crime-and-justice platforms, sparking debates on the unpredictability of life. Meanwhile, in the realm of sports, Vishwash's resilience and perseverance despite the tragic circumstances have served as an inspiration, earning him a symbolic place in the metaphorical sports arena."
