Britain Men's Tour Stages Three and Four Schedule Unveiled

The organisers of the Lloyds Tour of Britain Men have revealed the locations and routes for the first four stages of the 2025 race, leaving the final two stages yet to be announced. The tour, which will commence on September 2, 2025, will showcase the diversity of Warwickshire, Buckinghamshire, and Bedfordshire, with the first three stages taking place in these counties.

The tour will kick off in East Suffolk on September 2-3, covering Woodbridge, Southwold, and Stowmarket for stages 1 and 2. On September 4, stage 3 will see a 150 km route from Milton Keynes to Ampthill in Buckinghamshire and Bedfordshire. Milton Keynes last hosted the race in 2008, and Cllr Mick Legg, Milton Keynes City Council's cabinet member for sport and leisure, is excited to welcome the Lloyds Tour of Britain back to the city.

Stage 4, on September 5, will cover all five districts and boroughs of Warwickshire, with the race finishing at Burton Dassett Hills Country Park. This challenging uphill finish will be repeated three times, a feature that attracted Mathieu van der Poel (then Corendon-Circus) to win on the punchy finish at Burton Dassett Hills Country Park in 2019. Warwickshire hosts the Lloyds Tour of Britain Men for the first time since 2019, and Cllr George Finch, interim leader of Warwickshire County Council, is delighted about the breadth of the county that will be encapsulated within the Tour.

The final two stages (five and six) and the composition of the 20-team peloton are pending announcement, expected in the coming weeks following the last official statement. The race will move from the Midlands onwards after stage four, and the conclusion is anticipated to be revealed soon by British Cycling.

The 2025 Lloyds Tour of Britain Men will have six stages in total, with the race showcasing the diversity of Warwickshire, including towns and countryside, on an international stage. Cllr Adam Zerny, leader of Central Bedfordshire Council, expresses hope for a thrilling day for residents and visitors during the Lloyds Tour of Britain Men, as the race will be making its debut in Central Bedfordshire and Ampthill.

Stay tuned for updates on the final two stages of the 2025 Lloyds Tour of Britain Men, as we monitor and update you on any new announcements from British Cycling.

The Lloyds Tour of Britain Men will visit East Suffolk for the first two stages of the 2025 race, further expanding the tournament's reach to various sports locations. Following the completion of stages in Warwickshire, Buckinghamshire, and Bedfordshire, the competition will travel to East Suffolk (seasons 1 and 2) and Buckinghamshire and Bedfordshire (season 3). After stage 4 in Warwickshire, residents and visitors in Central Bedfordshire and Ampthill can look forward to the tour's upcoming debut.
