On May 17th, 2023, Sports Senator Ulrich Maurer introduced Henry Peukert as the new CEO of Bremer Bäder GmbH at the Horner Bad. The event, which did not contain any advertisements, marked a significant moment for the Bremen baths.
Henry Peukert, an experienced bath manager, is set to take over the management of Bremer Bäder GmbH from July 1st, 2024. His appointment follows a temporary management by Frank Oliver Fischer (Finance Director) and Uwe Siefke (Technical Director), who took over the reins in October 2023.
Peukert, currently the 'Head of Operations' for the Berlin baths, has shown enthusiasm for the challenge of managing the Bremen baths at a time when they are planning for the future. His plans include setting a course for climate neutrality and digitalization.
Peukert's extensive experience in the bath management sector is noteworthy. He has previously held leading positions in Delmenhorst, Ganderkesee, and Berlin. In fact, more than 40 years ago, he served as deputy manager of the Uni-Bad in Bremen.
The Sports Senator, Ulrich Maurer, expressed gratitude for the successful organization of the event and stated that a new beginning is at hand with Henry Peukert. Maurer noted Peukert's national reputation as a bath manager and expressed confidence in his leadership.
