Bremen Cup Golf Event Yields €4,600 in Charitable Contributions
The 12th edition of the "Bremen-CUP" golf tournament took place on May 27th at the Bremer Schweiz Golf Club, and was hosted by BHV - Bremische Hafen- und Logistikvertretung. A total of 23 teams/flights participated in the tournament, with 92 players taking part.
Christoph Holtkemper, the organizer of the event, ensured a smooth and enjoyable day for all. The tournament was filled with excitement and friendly competition, as teams from various organisations battled it out for supremacy.
In the net category, the BHV Junior team emerged victorious with an impressive score of 63 net points. Meanwhile, in the gross category, the team from Lampe & Schwartze clinched the top spot with 42 gross points. Teams from Atermann König & Pavenstedt and Roland Umschlag finished behind Lampe & Schwartze in the gross category.
The day was not just about the competition, as there were also special prizes up for grabs. Henrique Wohltmann won the "Nearest-to-the-Pin" special prize with a distance of 4.35 meters, while Mikkel Andersen secured the "Longest Drive" special prize with a drive of 250 meters.
The event also saw BHV showing its generosity, as they presented a check for €4,600 to the Freundeskreis Bremer Kinder in Not e.V. This donation will go a long way in supporting the charity's work in the local community.
The president (speaker) of BHV - Bremische Hafen- und Logistikvertretung, Eduard Dubbers-Albrecht, was present to oversee the proceedings and celebrate the success of the tournament. The "Bremen-CUP" golf tournament has become a much-anticipated event in the golfing calendar, and its 12th edition was no exception.
