Breitling unveils exclusive watch designs, embellished by football star Erling Haaland, incorporating distinctive dials!
In an exciting development in the world of luxury watches and football, Breitling has partnered with Erling Haaland, the striker for Manchester City and Norway, to launch a limited-edition Chronomat collection. The collection features two main models: the Chronomat Automatic GMT 40 and the Chronomat B01 42 chronograph, both boasting unique meteorite dials from the Muonionalusta meteorite.
The Chronomat Automatic GMT 40 is limited to 500 pieces and is priced at £8,150 / approximately $10,000 (on a rubber strap) and £8,400 / approximately $10,350 (on a stainless steel bracelet) in the UK. The Chronomat B01 42, crafted from 18k red gold, is limited to 250 pieces and is available at £21,900 / approximately $27,000 (on a rubber strap) and £39,700 / approximately $49,000 (on a red gold bracelet).
An ultra-exclusive "One of 5" red gold edition, reserved for Haaland's inner circle, comes with bespoke engravings including his name and signature goal celebration.
The meteorite dial, known for its distinctive Widmanstätten pattern, is a fitting choice for Haaland, symbolizing his "otherworldly" abilities. Each dial is unique due to the natural pattern formed over millions of years in space.
Key features of the Chronomat Automatic GMT 40 include a stainless steel case with a platinum bezel, a grey-toned meteorite dial, and a Breitling Caliber 32 movement with a GMT function. It offers approximately 42 hours of power reserve and is COSC-certified for accuracy. The Chronomat B01 42, set in a 42mm case crafted from 18k red gold, features a grey-toned meteorite dial with black sub-dials for the chronograph functions. It is powered by a Breitling Calibre 01 movement, offering 70 hours of power reserve from a 4Hz movement and is also COSC-certified for accuracy.
Each watch in the collection is numbered on the case back and comes with a personally signed note from Haaland. The watches are housed in a wooden box.
Both models are available with either a rubber strap for a sporty look and comfort or a matching metal bracelet (stainless steel for the GMT 40 and 18k red gold for the B01 chronograph) for a more luxurious feel.
The prices mentioned are approximate and may vary depending on the region. In the US, the chronograph watch in the collection is approximately USD $53,500, while in Europe, the GMT watch is approximately €25,200 in France and approximately €45,750 in Europe.
