"It was a day of pure magic! Believe it or not, look at what we're doing with the kids now - mini bike daredevils with all their heart and grit, literally! Sure, it's a bit bumpy at times, but they're having a blast, and they learn something new with each pedal. Watching them grow is just amazing," the former biathlete wrote under the snaps.
"Mountain biking? It sure was a blast! On our way back, we hopped onto a cable car - the kids couldn't contain their excitement, and we were living in panoramic bliss!" Evi Sachenbacher-Stehle added.
Evi Sachenbacher-Stehle, who ruled the sports arena for so long, now shares her picturesque mountain life with her husband and kiddos in Fischen im Allgäu. She's always keeping her fans in the loop on Instagram, sharing peeks into her family life and trips to the mesmerizing mountain landscapes. Her sporting accolades are primarily in cross-country skiing. She really stood out at the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City, winning a gold medal in the relay and a silver medal in the individual event. At world championships, she racked up a total of five medals, including a gold medal in the 2003 Val di Fiemme relay[1][2][3].
Her foray into biathlon in 2012 was a testament to her adaptability. She demonstrated her prowess with numerous podium finishes in the World Cup. At her very first official competition, Sachenbacher-Stehle secured a gold medal at a German championship. Post the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, the athlete announced her retirement[4].
