Brazil Denies Red Away Kit Rumors for 2026 World Cup

Footy Headlines sparked speculation that Brazil might don a red away kit at the 2026 World Cup, with the Jordan logo replacing the usual Nike swoosh. However, the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) swiftly denied these claims.

Brazil, known as the Seleção Canarinho or Canary Squad, is famous for its vibrant yellow home kits. Introduced in 1954, the yellow jersey has become an iconic symbol of the team. Despite a rocky qualification campaign, Brazil is on track to secure a spot in the 2026 World Cup.

This isn't the first time Jordans and Brazil have collaborated. In 2016, they released a special edition shirt. If Footy Headlines' claims prove true, it would mark the second such collaboration, with a red away kit and the Jordan logo.

The CBF has reaffirmed its commitment to its agreement with Nike for the new kit collection. The final decision on the away kit's colour and logo typically lies with Nike, in collaboration with the CBF. Fans eagerly await the official announcement.
