Brazil and Kuwait Strengthen Ties on 50th Anniversary of Diplomacy

Brazil and Kuwait have marked 50 years of diplomatic relations with plans to deepen cooperation. The two nations are advancing talks on new agreements to modernise their legal ties. Brazil’s Ambassador to Kuwait highlighted shared priorities in energy, food security, and climate action during recent discussions.

This year celebrates half a century since Brazil and Kuwait opened their embassies. Ambassador Rodrigo d'Araujo Gabsch praised the long-standing partnership, particularly in trade, energy, and food security. He also noted Kuwait’s consistent support for multilateral efforts, a stance Brazil values in tackling global challenges.

The anniversary of diplomatic relations comes as Brazil and Kuwait expand their collaboration. New agreements, climate commitments, and shared economic interests are set to shape their partnership in the coming years. Both nations have reaffirmed their dedication to working together on global and regional priorities.
