Braves Fest 2026 scrapped as winter storm threatens Atlanta's fan celebration

Braves Fest 2026, the Atlanta Braves' annual fan celebration, has been called off. Organisers cancelled the main event due to severe winter weather heading toward metro Atlanta. The decision was made to prioritise the safety of attendees.

The event had been set for Saturday, January 31, 2026, at Truist Park and The Battery Atlanta. Fans were looking forward to player autographs, photo opportunities, and family-friendly activities. But forecasts changed those plans.

A winter storm warning is now active for the Atlanta area. Snow is expected to begin falling early Saturday, creating hazardous conditions. Team officials stressed that the cancellation was a precaution to avoid risks for visitors and staff.

The Braves will not reschedule Braves Fest for this year. Those who purchased tickets will receive refunds. Further updates on future events will come from the team's official channels.
