Brandon Bussi earns rare back-to-back starts as Hurricanes’ hot streak continues

Brandon Bussi is set to make back-to-back starts for the first time in his NHL career. The Carolina Hurricanes goaltender has impressed early, winning six of his first seven games. Meanwhile, forward Jordan Staal could return to the lineup for the team’s match against the Calgary Flames on November 30.

Bussi’s strong start includes a 6-1-0 record, a .899 save percentage, and a 2.43 goals-against average. His performance has earned him consecutive appearances in net, a first in his professional career.

Bussi’s consistent play has secured him a second straight start. If Staal returns, the Hurricanes will gain an experienced forward for the Flames match. Both developments could influence the team’s performance in the days ahead.
