Brandenburg supports cultural digitization with 400,000 euros - Brandenburg Funds 25 Cultural Digitization Projects in 2025

Brandenburg's culture ministry has allocated 400,000 euros for digital projects in 2025. The funding aims to establish cultural institutions for a 'self-determined digital future'. Applications are open until October 30, 2025.

Among the 25 projects supported this year are an interactive city game and digital visitor guidance enhancements. The program backs digital strategies, qualification offers, infrastructure, retrospective digitization, and innovative mediation formats. Eligible applicants include non-profit entities, societies, municipalities, and associations based in Brandenburg.

Culture Minister Manja Schüle stresses the significance of digitization for society and culture. Meanwhile, the Museum Factory Pritzwalk explores the use of artificial intelligence in museum work. Specific recipients in Potsdam are not yet disclosed.

Brandenburg's digital projects program supports 25 projects with 400,000 euros. It encourages cultural institutions to embrace digital transformation. Applications close on October 30, 2025, with recipients in Potsdam to be announced later.
