Braeburn Swimming Club Dominates NCSA Level Two Championship in Nairobi

The Braeburn Swimming Club has once again proven their dominance in the swimming scene, winning both the boys' and girls' standings at the Nairobi County Swimming Association (NCSA) Level Two Championship held at Kiota School.

In the girls' 10 to 11 years 100m backstroke race, Jasmine Vogt of Braeburn clinched the first place title with a time of 1:34.51. Sonia Ochieng of the same club also shone in the girls' 12 to 13 years age group, finishing first with a remarkable time of 1:24.73. Mikaela Odada and Juanya Feng of Braeburn also made their mark, finishing third and second respectively in the same race.

The boys' competition saw a tight race between several clubs. Braeburn Swimming Club took the top spot with an impressive total of 48 medals, followed closely by Rusinga School with 18 medals. Kianda School finished fourth with a total of 22 medals, while Little Fish Swim Club and Sailfish Swim Club were third and fifth respectively, each with a combined total of eight gold and silver medals. German School Nairobi and USIU-A Dolphins Swim Club also made their presence felt, with German School Nairobi finishing fifth with 11 medals and USIU-A Dolphins Swim Club completing the top five with five medals.

Malia Walti of German School Nairobi put up a strong performance in the girls' 12 to 13 years 100m backstroke race, finishing second with a time of 1:29.16. Chepngetich Tarus of Raptors Swim Club finished third in the same race.

The championship marked the second event of the 2025-2026 season, and the success of Braeburn Swimming Club once again highlights their commitment to excellence in swimming. The search results do not provide the name of the trainer or coach who led the club to this impressive victory.
