- Brad Pitt-starring racing film "F1" features a bulky teaser trailer

Three months before the big-screen debut of "F1" starring Brad Pitt as a high-octane race car driver, the film team is revving up with an intense trailer. This thrilling ride stars Pitt (61, "OUATIH") and his British counterpart Damson Idris (33). Reports claim they filmed some nail-biting racing scenes at actual racetracks, snapping quarters at an astonishing 290 kilometers per hour. Director Joseph Kosinski shared with US media, "Every weekend was a rush, but we caught magic unrepeatable." Filming locations span race weekends in Silverstone, Las Vegas, and Abu Dhabi. Race legend Lewis Hamilton lent a hand as a consultant and co-producer. Pitt takes on the role of a former driver who met a brutal 90's accident and later competes in other racing series. Only when a struggling team owner mate, played by Javier Bardem, brings him back to Formula 1 does he hit the track once again. In his role, Pitt acts as a mentor to the supremely talented young driver Idris, guiding him to victory. Kosinski and producer Jerry Bruckheimer teamed up previously on "Top Gun: Maverick." To generate as genuine footage as possible, they frequently shot in the paddock, and Pitt even attended a driver's briefing. Pitt, Idris and their stunt doubles raced in modified Formula 2 cars of the fictitious Apex team. The Apple Studios production, with music by renowned composer Hans Zimmer, zooms into theaters worldwide at the end of June.
