In a stunning turn of events, Brad Pitt's latest film, "F1: The Movie," has become the highest-grossing film in his career, surpassing his previous record set by "World War Z" in 2013. The action-packed production has grossed an impressive $545.6 million worldwide[1][2].

"F1: The Movie" outperforms other notable films in Pitt's filmography. "World War Z" stands as his second highest-grossing lead role film with $540 million, followed by "Troy" ($497 million), "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" ($487 million), and "Ocean's Eleven" ($450 million). "Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood," while significant for earning Pitt an Oscar, did not match the box office revenue of "F1"[1][4][5].

Interestingly, despite having a cameo in "Deadpool 2," which grossed $785 million, this does not count as a major role in Pitt's filmography[1][4].

Meanwhile, "F1: The Movie" also stands out as Apple Studios' highest-grossing theatrical release, outperforming films like "Napoleon" and "Killers of the Flower Moon"[1][2].

Elsewhere, "The Fantastic Four: First Steps" has not been as successful for Apple. Although it has grossed $368.7 million worldwide, it is not the most successful project from Apple's film division[1]. In the U.S., "World War Z" still leads "The Fantastic Four: First Steps" in gross earnings[1].

The superhero adventure has seen a significant drop in North American ticket sales, with a 66% decrease in its second weekend. In its second week in Germany, "The Fantastic Four: First Steps" fell from first place to third, grossing $1.5 million[1].

Despite these figures, "The Fantastic Four: First Steps" has not broken Brad Pitt's career record set by "World War Z" ($540.5 million in 2013)[1]. In comparison, "Jurassic World: Dominion" remains the summer's box office hit in Germany, along with "F1"[1].

As for the release date of the co-production of "F1" with Warner Bros. on Apple TV+, it has yet to be announced[1].

Brad Pitt's latest film, "F1: The Movie," successful earnings have indubitably positioned it amongst the top-grossing movies-and-tv productions in his career. Interestingly, Apple Studios' highest-grossing theatrical release is none other than "F1: The Movie," outperforming films like "Napoleon" and "Killers of the Flower Moon."
