BPOLI LUD: Fines and expenses settling, arrest warrant terminated
A 38-year-old Romanian man has avoided immediate imprisonment after choosing to pay a fine imposed by the Local Court of Dippoldiswalde for forgery of evidence. The man entered Germany via the A4 Motorway at Görlitz yesterday evening.
The transaction occurred after the man was presented with a choice by the Federal Police. The Public Prosecutor's Office in Dresden issued an arrest warrant for the man four months ago.
Upon his arrival in Germany, the man was given the option to pay up and continue his journey, or face imprisonment. The man opted to pay the fine of 1,581.00 euros, thereby settling his court costs and lifting the arrest warrant issued by the Public Prosecutor's Office in Dresden.
