Monsta X member Joohoney is set to release his second solo EP, Insanity, on January 5, 2026. This marks his first solo project in nearly three years since his debut EP Lights in May 2023. Fans can expect a preview of the album a day earlier, on January 4, followed by a music video teaser on January 2.

Joohoney has been actively involved in music production beyond his solo work. In August 2025, he co-produced Monsta X’s track Do What I Want, a pre-release single from their thirteenth EP, The X. His creative contributions extend back to earlier solo mixtapes, including DWTD (Do What They Do) in 2018 and Psyche in 2020.

*Insanity* will explore his musical passion and experiences as part of Monsta X. The EP arrives just weeks before the group kicks off their world tour, *The X: Nexus*, with a Seoul concert on January 30, 2026. The upcoming release follows a long gap since his last solo work. While *Lights* introduced his solo sound in 2023, *Insanity* promises a deeper dive into his artistic growth and personal journey.

Joohoney’s new EP drops on January 5, 2026, with a preview available the day before. The music video teaser will follow on January 2, building anticipation for the full release. Meanwhile, Monsta X’s world tour begins later that month, keeping fans engaged with fresh music and live performances.
