Minister President of Hessen, Boris Rhein, along with State Parliament President Astrid Wallmann, recently paid a visit to the Vatican to meet with Pope Francis. The charismatic Pope, renowned for his humility and openness, received Rhein in an audience that left the Hessen leader impressed.

For the past 30 years, Emilia-Romagna has been Hessen's partner region, boasting a plethora of university and school partnerships and cooperation with numerous provinces and municipalities in Italy.
