Borderlands 4's least potent character reportedly dishes out a quadrillion damage with a single hit.
In the vibrant world of Borderlands 4, one character has been causing quite a stir among players - Amon. Although generally considered bland compared to other characters, Amon has a secretly busted build that has been turning heads.
One of the key skills in Amon's Calamity tree, Berserk, grants slow immunity and bonus cryo damage with guns and melee when activated. This is complemented by There Is Only Red, which partially restores Berserk's duration and increases the bonus cryo damage effect when Amon kills an enemy while Berserk is active.
The Groundbreaker specialization, a requirement for the busted build, combined with the Berserk perk, allows for increased damage and infinite bonus damage stacking with each punch. My Touch Is Death, another skill in the Calamity tree, has a chance to activate Kill Skills whenever Amon deals melee damage, further enhancing the build's potential.
Discombobulate, found in the same tree, provides melee critical strike chance, and Rafa's Tritanium Knuckles increase melee and skill damage. Into The Fray increases damage dealt and damage reduction based on Amon's distance from the enemy, with closer enemies receiving greater bonuses.
Meanwhile, in Amon's Vengeance tree, skills like Eternal increase action skill duration and gun swap speed, while Wrath of Nature increases status effect chance and cryo effectiveness. The Thrill provides missing health regeneration, with each stack of Resolute increasing the effect. Cryonic Thrum sends out a cryonic pulse every second, dealing cryo damage to enemies and restoring allies' health while Amon is aiming.
The Best Defence grants a super shield when dealing melee damage, and The Impetus skill increases shield regeneration rate and movement speed for a duration. Finally, Gut Punch has a chance to apply weakness to enemies, reducing their damage and increasing the damage they take.
Content creator Moxsy has been able to hit for over a quadrillion damage in a single punch against the target dummy with Amon's busted build. Most enemies, including bosses, will die in a single punch with this build, although reaching billions of damage stacks is not realistic due to the fight ending before that can occur.
However, it's important to note that Amon's busted build requires the Groundbreaker specialization in the skill tree. Rafa, another character, may have been unintentionally made one of the strongest in Borderlands 4, as he has no significant weaknesses but also no overwhelming strengths, making him a well-rounded choice especially popular among solo players.
Despite the high number of broken builds in Borderlands 4, including Vex bleed builds, Harlowe's pocket nuke, and Rafa's army of gun buffs, Amon's busted build stands out as a unique and formidable option for players seeking a powerful and exciting playstyle.
