Get a Grip, Dobrindt! Juso-Chief Türmer Takes Chancellor Merz to Task Over Border Rejections

Border Refusal Sparks Demand from Juso Chief Türmer: Action from Federal Chancellor Urged

Hop on the bandwagon, Dobrindt! Respect the law and heed the Berlin Administrative Court's ruling, urged Juso-Chairman Philipp Türmer to Federal Chancellor Friedrich Merz (CDU) in the Funke media group. Türmer pleaded with Merz to apply pressure on Federal Interior Minister Alexander Dobrindt (CSU) to change course on border rejections.

What's up, Dobrindt? The law is the law, and that's no joke. "The Berlin Administrative Court's ruling plainly backs our argument: Rejections at the border are illegal," Türmer declared defiantly. Regarding Dobrindt's insistence on border rejections, Türmer blared, "This absolute insanity of defying the law and encouraging federal police to break it is outrageous!"

If Dobrindt doesn't grasp the gravity of the situation, Türmer threatened, Merz needs to step in and set things straight. "Enough is enough, Merz must sound the alarm!" Türmer barked. "Quoting a legal expert, 'There's no fathomable legal ground for border rejections.' Instead of cheering on Dobrindt, it's about time to steer the minister back on the right track!"

On Monday, the Berlin Administrative Court sided with three Somali asylum-seekers challenging their rejection, declaring the rejections illegal. The court reasoned that at least one of the migrants had a cogent case for asylum, and the overall policy of turning away asylum-seekers without due process was devoid of legal justification and contradicted EU immigration policies[2][4].

The German government, however, remains resolute in its hardline migration policy, despite the court ruling[1]. The Interior Ministry revealed that over 2,800 people were denied entry to Germany in the first two weeks of the policy. This hard-nosed stance seeks to stamp out irregular migration, including the suspension of asylum processes and turning away asylum-seekers at borders[2].

Opposition to the government's migration policies has been strong and vocal, with Türmer joining the ranks[3]. He pleaded with Merz to intervene and reverse course before our nation's reputation is further tarnished.

So there you have it! The government's stance on migration remains unfazed, leading to an uptick in border rejections and stringent border controls. Yet wisdom prevails, and we, the people, will never accept the trampling of human rights in the name of irregular migration.

Despite the Berlin Administrative Court's ruling deeming border rejections illegal, the German government persists in its tough migration policies, while politicians like Türmer call for change, advocating for a policy-and-legislation that adheres to the general-news and EU immigration policies. The politics surrounding this issue lead Türmer to urge Merz to exert influence on Dobrindt, urging him to reconsider the employment policy regarding border rejections.
