Poland-Belarus Border Clogged, Delays Persist
As of 1 PM Polish time (2 PM Belarusian time), the Terespol border crossing between Poland and Belarus remains operational, but with considerable delays. A response from the Polish Border Guard to "Euroradio" reveals that while traffic isn't entirely halted, the process has noticeably slowed.
Earlier this week, the Belarusian Border Committee reported that Polish control services stopped allowing buses into their territory since 10 AM on June 5. Additionally, disruptions in processing private cars started on the evening of June 4.
According to Belarusian data, four buses, confirmed by the Belarusian side, had been waiting to enter Poland for over three hours. As of June 6, a backlog of approximately 1,730 passenger cars and 75 buses was waiting to cross into Poland from Belarus, signifying a queue of over 1,800 vehicles [1][3].
The Polish border guards chose not to comment on statements from the Belarusian side [2].
