Bor hosts 73 entrepreneurs in regional business support forum

A business support event in Bor recently gathered 73 entrepreneurs from across Nizhny Novgorod Oblast. Organised by the regional Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Entrepreneurship, the meeting focused on investment opportunities, state aid, and networking between local producers. The round table took place as part of the national project Effective and Competitive Economy. It included representatives from five municipalities: Bor, Kovernino, Volodarsk, Nizhny Novgorod, and Dzerzhinsk. Participants ranged from clothing and textile manufacturers to food and wood producers.

The programme split into two sections. First, officials discussed local administration plans and available state support measures. Afterward, an exhibition and B2B/B2G negotiations followed. The Nizhny Novgorod Oblast Development Corporation also highlighted investment incentives, the *Kulibin* special economic zone, and digital services for businesses. Maxim Cherkasov, the region's Minister of Industry, Trade, and Entrepreneurship, noted that Nizhny Novgorod Oblast hosts the country's largest *My Business* network, with 43 branches. Since January, experts have held 9,000 consultations on business development. All support details are available at *My Business* centres or via the hotline at 8 (800) 301 29 94. Seven more roundtable discussions are scheduled before the year's end in different municipalities.

The event aimed to strengthen ties between entrepreneurs and regional authorities. Further meetings will continue addressing business needs and promoting economic growth. Support measures remain accessible through the My Business network and its hotline.
