The BossHoss Return with Anniversary Album "Back to the Boots"

After two decades since their debut album, the Berlin-based band The BossHoss is set to release their anniversary album, titled "Back to the Boots". The band, composed of Alec Völkel (53) and Sascha Vollmer (53), has been visiting the United States for inspiration and their love for the USA remains undiminished, even during President Donald Trump's second term.

The album's title, "Back to the Boots", holds a special meaning for the band. As Sascha Vollmer stated, it symbolises their return to their fans. The music on the album is a blend of country rock, with twenty more years of experience infused into it.

One of the standout tracks on the album is "Lunch", a sultry number that is sure to catch listeners' attention. Another powerful song on the album is "One More Time", followed by "Win Win" and "Showdown". These tracks are likely to heat up the atmosphere during their upcoming concert tour.

The BossHoss have not stirred up country porridge with their album. Instead, they have evoked the scent of American country roads, motor oil, and whiskey for much of its duration. The band found the Johnny Cash classic "Ring of Fire" to be too big for their new album, but they created a rock version of Willie Nelson's "On the Road Again".

The album also features collaborations with notable figures. Actor Arnold Schwarzenegger recorded his famous "Terminator" line "I'll be back" for a song on the album. R&B legend Dionne Warwick also contributed her voice for a new version of her hit "What the World Needs Now Is Love".

The humorous number "German Angst" takes aim at German clichés like planning obsession and caution. Völkel views the current situation in the USA as strange, but still sees the country as great. He believes that America will become reasonable again.

The BossHoss will tour through German clubs from late September, feeling close to their fans again, as they did in the early years before appearing on the casting format "The Voice". The band's music continues to be a unique blend that originates within the band members, and their love for the USA remains unchanged.
