In an unexpected turn, actor Babil Khan, the late Irrfan Khan's son, shared a tearful video on Instagram, addressing the alleged bullying within the Bollywood industry. The video eventually got deleted, but not before creating a stir among fans and netizens alike.
Babil called out several actors, including Shanaya Kapoor, Ananya Panday, Arjun Kapoor, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Raghav Juyal, Adarsh Gourav, and even Arijit Singh, accusing them of being "rude" and criticizing the Bollywood industry as a whole for its false façade.
However, Babil's team later clarified that the video was misunderstood and taken out of context. They stated that Babil's admiration for the named actors was misinterpreted as criticism. He genuinely praised their authenticity and passion, not intending to criticize them.
Amid the controversy, fans expressed both concern and support for Babil, with many fellow actors alsosympathizing with his struggles within the industry. Although Babil temporarily removed the video from his Instagram Story, he hasn't permanently deactivated his account.
Babil Khan, who made his acting debut in the critically acclaimed film 'Qala', has also been seen in projects like Friday Night Plan, The Railway Men, and recently in the cyber-thriller Logout. Despite the recent drama, Babil's contribution to the Indian film industry continues to be recognized and appreciated.
