Bolger Secures Another Winning Double
In a thrilling turn of events during the 2025 Summer Super Stack Event #14, poker player Malcolm Bolger has significantly increased his chip stack, thanks to a strategic hand against Mike Malm.
The hand began with Scot Munro opening the game with 65,000 chips from an early position. Malcolm Bolger, in the cutoff, pushed all-in for a whopping 555,000 chips, forcing a reshove from Mike Malm in the small blind. Scot Munro, having to make a tough decision, ultimately folded, leaving Malm and Bolger to proceed to showdown.
At the table, Malm held the strong hand of ace-king, while Bolger held the slightly weaker ace-queen. However, fortune favoured Bolger as he found a queen on the flop, improving his hand to a full house (three of a kind queens). Malm, unfortunately, did not improve further and was left with just over 100,000 chips, while Bolger's stack increased to around 1.2 million chips.
The hand resulted in a substantial advantage for Bolger, who continues to dominate the game. As the event progresses, it remains to be seen how Malm and the other players will respond to Bolger's growing chip stack. Stay tuned for more updates from the Summer Super Stack Event #14.
