Bold Ventures ramps up drilling and heads to PDAC 2026 with key updates pending
Bold Ventures Inc. has initiated drilling operations at its Wilcorp property near Atikokan, Ontario. The company has also completed an initial phase of its project management at the Burchell Base and Precious Metals Project, with lab results still pending. Meanwhile, executives will attend the upcoming PDAC convention in Toronto from March 1st to 4th, 2026.
The exploration work at Bold's Burchell project has already seen four holes drilled, totalling 669 metres. A further 663 core samples have been sent for analysis, though findings have not yet been released. Following this phase, the company plans to drill eight more holes at the Wilcorp property, located roughly 13 kilometres east of Atikokan.
Beyond fieldwork, Bold has secured a 12-month promotional contract with The Armchair Trader for $10,000. The agreement aims to raise the company's profile in the mining sector. Additionally, Bold maintains a 10% carried interest in the Black Horse Chromite deposit, part of the Koper Lake Project.
At the upcoming PDAC convention, CEO Bruce MacLachlan will give interviews to the Northern Miner and CEO.CA. Coleman Robertson, the company's VP of Exploration, will also present at a session titled From Burchell to the Ring of Fire on March 2nd. The event comes as two key projects in the Ring of Fire region advance: the Eagle's Nest mine has passed another regulatory milestone, while the Marten Falls Community Access Road has entered public review.
The company's leadership, including MacLachlan and Robertson, will be present throughout the convention, which runs from March 1st to 4th at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.
Bold Ventures is pushing ahead with exploration at both the Burchell and Wilcorp sites, with further drilling planned in the coming months. The pending lab results and upcoming PDAC presentations could provide new insights into the company's project management. Meanwhile, regulatory progress in the Ring of Fire may open additional opportunities for mining development in the region.
