Body of Missing Man Found in Yakutia After Five-Day Search
A search operation in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) has ended with the discovery of a man's body. The man, born in 1993, was reported missing on December 2 after not being in touch since November 30.
The search, which lasted for five days, involved a large team including rescuers, police officers, local volunteers, and the man's relatives. The search area was extensive, covering the man's residence, abandoned buildings, forests, and the riverbank of the Viluy River.
On December 7, the man's body was found near power lines in the forest area of 'Saltany'. It was handed over to the investigation. The Yakutia's Emergency Service, which found the body, recommends residents to take precautions due to cold weather, limit outdoor time, and avoid long-distance trips.
