Bodenwöhr's Connection Road Renovation Begins This Week
Bodenwöhr's community connection road from Pingarten to Taxöldern is set for renovation, with work starting this week. The project, awarded to Huber-Rappl from Rötz at €197,000, aims to complete asphalt work by October 17th, as confirmed by Mayor Hoffmann.
The road, currently in poor condition, will be closed during renovation. Motorists will need to take detours via Fuhrn and Pissau or Bodenwöhr and Erzhäuser. The municipality is coordinating transportation for affected residents. Child normally transported by the Meixner bus company will be taken care of by the municipality, while transportation from Kriegerdenkmal in Bodenwöhr to Taxöldern will be provided by the Meixner company.
Kindergarten child will be transported by the municipality's bus drivers, coordinated with parents. During the closure, the school bus company Hauck will handle primary school child's transportation.
The renovation of the GVS road is expected to last until October 17th, with the municipality working to ensure the project stays on schedule. Alternative transportation routes and arrangements have been made to minimize disruption to residents and students.
