Bochum Signs Striker from Premier League - Bochum reshapes squad with Callum Turner arrival and Kleine-Bekel’s Swiss loan

VfL Bochum has reshuffled its squad with two key loan moves. The club has brought in young striker Callum Turner from West Ham United while sending defender Colin Kleine-Bekel to FC St. Gallen. Both deals run until the end of the season.

Callum Turner, a 21-year-old Northern Ireland international, joins Bochum on a temporary basis. The forward arrives from Premier League side West Ham United, where he has been developing in their youth setup. His loan aims to provide additional attacking options for the 2. Bundesliga club.

Meanwhile, 22-year-old centre-back Colin Kleine-Bekel has left for Swiss side FC St. Gallen. The former Germany U21 international made just one league appearance for Bochum since signing from Holstein Kiel last summer. His contract with Bochum remains active until 2028, but he will spend the rest of this campaign in Switzerland.

No other player departures were required to facilitate these transfers.

Turner’s arrival bolsters Bochum’s attack for the remainder of the season. Kleine-Bekel, having struggled for game time, now seeks regular football in Switzerland. Both loans reflect the club’s strategy to balance squad depth and player development.
