Title: Nolte and Ammour Triumph in Bobsleigh Championships at Home Turf

German Olympian Laura Nolte and her push athlete Neele Schuten secured the two-man bobsleigh title at the Winterberg track, their hometown. Their superior performance edged out Maureen Zimmer/Lauryn Siebert and Charlotte Candrix/Cynthia Kwofie in a tightly contested competition. Nolte shared her thoughts on the victory, stating, "We're thrilled about the title. The exhilaration prior to a German championship might not be as palpable, but one still yearns to shine and showcase capabilities." The Olympian's World Cup debut in Beijing was postponed.

Nolte's triumph in the Saturday monobob event saw her finish ahead of Maureen Zimmer and Lisa Buckwitz. The trio consisting of Nolte, Buckwitz, and Kim Kalicki have already been nominated for the World Cup, scheduled for December 4-10 in La Plagne, France.

In the men's event, Adam Ammour clinched the two-man bobsleigh title, with his brother Issam serving as the push athlete. Ammour outperformed Max Illmann/Costa Laurenz and Christoph Hafer/Matthias Sommer in third place. His prowess continued in the four-man bobsleigh, where he took the top prize. His contender, Hafer, finished second, while Nico Semmler rounded off the podium. Exploring his victory, Ammour expressed, "We can now approach the subsequent competition in Altenberg with undiluted zeal."

Following their success, Ammour ferried a personal message to his followers, expressing sheer delight at their accomplishments.
