In the world of international motorsport, Canadian driver Samantha Tan is making a name for herself, particularly within the GT4 and GT3 categories, driving BMW M cars. Her rapid rise and growing prominence have culminated in her becoming the only global BMW M Motorsport Ambassador in 2023, a significant achievement that symbolises BMW’s confidence in her as the face of their motorsport endeavours worldwide.

Tan's career began with consistent podium finishes globally, positioning her as a leading figure in BMW's racing programs. Born in Canada and of Asian descent, Tan co-owns Samantha Tan (ST) Racing, a passionate and dedicated team that has achieved significant success. Since its establishment in 2017, ST Racing has made a mark, winning the 2021 24H Series overall championship during their first year overseas and claiming back-to-back team championships in the Pirelli World Challenge and the Pirelli GT4 America series in 2019 and 2020.

One of Tan's most notable racing engagements came in 2023 when she made her debut at the Road to Le Mans, racing alongside co-driver Gustav Bergström for Team WRT. She is also set to make her racing debut at the Circuit de la Sarthe this June, racing a BMW M4 GT3 EVO for BMW Team WRT at the Road to Le Mans.
