BM Dakota, 3, Crowned Champion at Apha/Wcha Halter Million

Massimo Bonini, a passionate horse enthusiast, recently celebrated the return of his prized Paint stallion, BM Dakota Johnson, to his Cella ranch. The horse, now 3 years old, has already made a significant mark in the competitive world of horse shows.

Bonini's journey with BM Dakota began when he was just 6 months old. Impressed by the horse's father's good qualities, Bonini bought him and started participating in competitions once BM Dakota grew up. Their hard work paid off as BM Dakota won several prestigious titles.

In the 2025 Apha/Wcha Halter Million in Fort Worth, Texas, BM Dakota Johnson was named Champion Big Money 3 Year Old - Over stallions. This was not his first major win. He had previously been crowned 1st Grand Champion Stallions Paint Horse and 1st Alpha Special Event 2023 in Verona. At just 3 years old, BM Dakota Johnson is ranked in the Top 5 of the best Paint stallions. In the same competition, he also won the 1st WCHA 3-year-Old&Over Stallions Open/non-pro title and was named Reserve World Champion 2025 Amateur Stallions 3 Year Old. He placed 6th in the Apha Amateur Stallions Titles, further cementing his status as a distinguished horse.

BM Dakota Johnson's impressive resume includes being the 1st Grand European Champion 2024 in Germany. With Bonini at the helm, this talented stallion continues to make waves in the horse show circuit, and there's no telling what future achievements lie ahead for this remarkable horse.
