Blue Jackets team with Coyote Peterson for wildlife-themed hockey night

The Columbus Blue Jackets have teamed up with wildlife educator Coyote Peterson for a unique event on March 29, 2025. Fans attending the game against the Boston Bruins at Nationwide Arena can access a special ticket package that blends hockey with conservation efforts. Peterson, a well-known figure in wildlife education, will be present to engage with supporters before and during the match.

Coyote Peterson, a lifelong Blue Jackets fan, built his career by merging wildlife expertise with video production. After graduating from The Ohio State University, he launched Brave Wilderness—a platform now boasting over 4.8 billion views worldwide. His work focuses on documenting more than 500 animal species, primarily in North America, with expeditions spanning Australia, Africa, and South America.

The special ticket package offers fans a game ticket, an autographed co-branded water bottle, and a pregame meet and greet with Peterson. Buyers will also enter a draw for in-game experiences alongside him. Additionally, each purchase directs a $10 donation to Las Oncas Jaguar Conservation, aiding wildlife protection in Latin America.

The partnership highlights the Blue Jackets' commitment to community engagement while supporting global conservation. Fans will get exclusive access to Peterson's wildlife insights, and the event will raise funds for jaguar preservation. The game against the Bruins promises a mix of sports excitement and educational outreach.
