"Bloody Two-Year Mark: High-Ranking UAE Official Brandishes Israeli Assault on Doha as 'Treachery'"

In a united front, nearly 60 countries from the Arab League and Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) gathered for an emergency summit in Doha on Monday, following an Israeli strike on Hamas members in Qatar. The summit, led by Qatar, was called to address the ongoing Israel-Hamas conflict and the resulting wave of condemnations towards Israel's actions.

The joint statement from the summit urged all States to take measures to prevent Israel from continuing its actions against the Palestinian people. The statement also suggested reviewing diplomatic and economic relations with Israel, and initiating legal proceedings against it.

Dr Anwar Gargash, diplomatic advisor to the UAE President, reaffirmed the Emirates' solidarity with Qatar. He described Israel's actions in the region as "treacherous" and said they strengthen the solidarity among Arab countries. Dr Gargash also called the current situation a "geopolitical earthquake" with far-reaching consequences.

The countries that participated in the summit included Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Indonesia, Malaysia, Pakistan, Algeria, Jordan, Egypt, and Syria, as well as other unnamed Arab and Islamic states. Notable absentees were the UAE and Bahrain, along with Egypt, Jordan, and Morocco, who were among those present who recognize Israel.

Dr Gargash mentioned the absence of a comprehensive Arab project for stability that preserves sovereignty, dignity, and the future. He suggested that each country should focus solely on its own fate.

The summit did not include any new measures or actions suggested towards Israel, but the measures suggested in the statement are a clear indication of the growing international pressure on Israel to cease its actions against the Palestinian people.

The article does not provide direct quotes from other countries or leaders regarding their stance on Israel's actions. However, the unity shown at the summit is a clear demonstration of the Arab world's solidarity with Qatar and the Palestinian cause.
