She Demands a Three-Digit Million Dollar Sum - Blake Lively’s $160M Lawsuit Exposes Hollywood’s Reputation Wars

Actress Blake Lively has filed a lawsuit seeking over $160 million in damages, alleging a deliberate campaign to harm her reputation linked to the film 'Just One More Time'. The original lawsuit, first filed in late 2024, initially sought $75,000.

Lively's legal team estimates missed earnings from acting, production, speaking engagements, and brand partnerships amount to roughly $56.2 million. Her beauty brand, Blake Brown, reportedly suffered $49 million in losses, and her beverage company, Betty Buzz/Betty Booze, saw $22 million in damages. An additional $34 million is attributed to reputational harm, based on approximately 65 million negative social media impressions.

She has accused co-star and director Justin Baldoni, producer Jamey Heath, studio head Steve Sarowitz, and their PR team of orchestrating the negative publicity against her. A long list of potential witnesses has been named, including Hollywood heavyweights and industry figures, although most are unlikely to ultimately take the stand. The trial against Baldoni and the producers is currently scheduled for March 2026. In June 2025, a judge dismissed Baldoni's counterclaim against Lively, ruling that statements made in the course of legal proceedings cannot form the basis of a defamation claim.

Blake Lively's lawsuit, initially seeking $75,000, now totals over $160 million. The trial, set for March 2026, follows the dismissal of a counterclaim by co-star Justin Baldoni. The case highlights the significant financial impact reputational harm can have on public figures.
